When creating a new loan account ans specify a certain run time (e.g. 3 months) in Scheduled transactions it is listed forever, even after all payments were done and entered via Scheduled transactions. You never know when a loan payment is over from Schedule Transaction view Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create a new loan account 2. select "Borrowing money/Lending money (happens with both), a payee or payer, monthly payment, fixed interest rate and a start date 3. enter loan amount, interest rate and term (e.g. 3 months) and calculate 4. Select interest category and payment account 5. select Asset account and specify date of payment 6. review summary and finish transaction Actual Results: the loans were entered to the corresponding account correctly. Also a Scheduled Transaction Entry has been made with the correct values. However, the scheduled transaction for the loan is listed each month in Calendar view. It seems to be open end. Expected Results: If the loan is e.g. for 3 months the scheduled transaction also should be entered only this time, not forever.
Is this still an issue with a more recent version? (preferably 5.x, but even with 4.8.) Once the actual date is past the end of the loan term, are those payments still shown? If not, this might have been only a bug in the display in the scheduled calendar view, which has since been removed.
