It's possible to highlight icons of used label filters? Now I can enable/disable filtering, but I can't quickly verify what labels are filtered at this moment.

From Filter panel on the right sidebar, all filters options are visible.

If you want to show LAbels assigned to icon-view items, show turn on right options from digiKam setup icon-view dialog.
