In the File Open dialog (for example in Kate) when I open a network (e.g. FTP) folder and right click a file, I see "Move to Trash" and no "Remove" menu items. If I click "Move to Trash" it says "Access denied". So I can't delete file from File Dialog. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Kate. 2. Connect to a network folder. 3. Attempt to delete a file by right clicking it. Actual Results: I cannot delete the file. Expected Results: There should be a way to delete it.
That's odd, it works here. I have a "Delete" action in the right-click context menu. Are you sure you have write permissions on that folder?
Yes, I have all permissions.
Works for me in KDE Frameworks 5.45; "Move to Trash" and "Delete" are both present in the menu.
