I would like to know if there is any intention to develop a tool for area calculation. This would be very useful for me.
What kind of features would it have? Creating a polygon by clicking somewhere and showing the area?
Yes, creating a polygon by clicking somewhere and showing the area. 2014-02-28 10:30 GMT-03:00 Dennis Nienhüser <earthwings@gentoo.org>: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=331612 > > Dennis Nienhüser <earthwings@gentoo.org> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > CC| |earthwings@gentoo.org > > --- Comment #1 from Dennis Nienhüser <earthwings@gentoo.org> --- > What kind of features would it have? This has been implemented during last GCI by Illya. See https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/121688/. Right click onto the map and add multiple measure points, thus creating a polygon. Make sure you have the area feature enabled: Settings -> Configure Marble -> Plugins -> Measure tool -> Press the small "settings" button -> Check 'Area'.
