Description DrSlony 2014-02-28 09:50:06 UTC
Hi

It is very important to be able to have an instant comparison before/after when working with images. In the case of Enfuse, I need to be able to instantly switch between an image with and without using CIECAM02, for example, or hard masks. The problem is that when I click on "Preview", the current preview disappears and I see a completely useless message "Processing preview of bracketed images...". This message should not replace the old preview! The old preview should stay there until the new one it ready to instantly replace it. The message can appear under the preview or in the status bar.
Please fix this, as it makes comparing images with/without a setting impossible (differences are significant but hard to locate if you can't switch instantly).

Reproducible: Always

4.14.0 still shows that message and I still think moving it elsewhere and instantly updating the old preview with the new one once it's done processing would improve usability, but at least I can click in the "To save" panel to instantly switch to previously previewed versions.

Since there is a workaround you can close this if you like, though if I used this (I now use MacroFusion as a GUI for Enfuse) I would push for it to get changed as described.
