It is impossible to refresh the contents of an FTP directory with the Refresh button

AAARGH!!! For realz now:

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open an FTP folder (mounted using the KDE mechanism, not curlftpfs or similar) in the Filesystem widget's tree
2) Access the same folder from outside Kdevelop and add or delete some files
3) Press the Refresh button above the Filesystem widget in Kdevelop

Expected results:

Changes in the filesystem should be reflected in the tree. Expanded state of nodes should be preserved where possible.

Actual results:

A "Close All" effect occurs: all network shares are collapsed, resulting in the view of the contents of KDE's virtual Network folder as it would be seen when opened in Dolphin in Tree view mode. Additionally and more importantly, **no refresh occurs** - I still see deleted files.
