If you view a message (plain text) in the message preview pane, the font used is not the font that is configured systemwide or in the KMail-Settings. Changing to a fixed font preview (shortcut 'X') has no effect, even if I change the font in KMail-Settings to a monospace font. This behaviour is also true for the messageviewer in a separate window. Only the Editor component is not effected by this Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create a new mail 2. save it as draft 3. look at it in the preview pane Actual Results: The font is wrong and can't be changed to monospace (shortcut 'X') Expected Results: The message should be displayed with the configured font, or system default font. Pressing X or checking 'Fixed Font/Monospace' in the context menu should display the message with the configured monospace font. I recognized this behaviour first in KDE 4.12.2 and in KDE 4.11.5.
After some more investigation, I found that i received together with the KDE 4.12.2 update a small update to openSUSE, which changes some of my systemwide font settings. So this wasn't a bug - sorry for the noise...
