Downloaded and installed yesterday's (2/3/2014) updates using muon update manager. After that, the system no longer recognized the built-in ATI video card and went to single monitor mode. Systemsettings indicated "X Server does not support resizing and rotating the display. Please update to version 4.3 or greater..." CMOS is set to use the on-board video card. There is also an nVidia 5200 card in the box, but not being used since I could not get the card to waork with 2 monitors. SysInfo shows both cards. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start the system 2. 3. Actual Results: Single monitor with default settings. Shows on both monitors the same. Expected Results: Should be 2 monitors from the ATi card with each monitor using its own settings. Right monitor is first. Left is second. I see there were two updates: fglrx (8,960-0ubuntu1.1, 13.101-0ubuntu0.0.1) Upgraded at 13:59 and fglrx-amdcccle (8.960-0ubuntu1.1, 13.101-0ubuntu0.0.1) Upgraded at 13:59.

Is this really downstream, or is it a KScreen bug? Reporter, can you try to duplicate using a different distribution?

Isn't that a kde problem?
Nope - the updates you installed were for fglrx, which is the proprietary ATI driver - has nothing at all to do with KDE. Please contact your distribution.
