https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthread.php?64604-Damned-Muon

" OK, figured it out. /etc/apt/sources.list and sources.list.save permissions were set to 700. Changed to 744 and the Muon family now works correctly. "

libmuon or something should check whether it can actually read the sources.list(s) and if not tell the user that functionality may be limited becuase of file read problems...

Reproducible: Always

Hi to all, before, in kubuntu 14.04, which i have and i use, i pressed settings and then configure software sources. It opens a window (python script) and it could add the repository. Now not this case. Only update software. Correct please

This is two tickets, both old. One seems to be fixed and the other is not well specified. If there is a real problem here, please reopen the ticket.
