When you open a a website with an embedded video and start playing it, it will completely download even if you close the website's tab. I'd say this isn't the best behaviour, especially if you have a slow internet connection and a huge video you don't want to see automatically starts playing. The only way I found to end the video download is killing Konqueror's process. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open website with HTML5 video 2. Start playing the video 3. Close the tab the video is in, see how it keeps downloading Actual Results: Video doesn't stop downloading Expected Results: Video should stop downloading Haven't tried this with other HTML5 media, but it might happen with audio, etc.. too

Resolved as per comment in 379522, user no longer uses KDE and is the only person to report this bug.
