Description reactormonk 2014-01-26 12:53:46 UTC
Sometimes, a client stops updating on the screen, so the image last displayed stays. The client updates if I move it around.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
So far it only happened with a browser with flash running and a game running on wine. I haven't found a way to reliably reproduce it.

GeForce GTX 660 Ti, with nvidia version 331.38, X version 1.15.0
Comment 1 Thomas Lübking 2014-01-26 14:58:33 UTC
Sounds a bit like overlay windows - does it updated *while* you move it around or (while and) *after* you moved it around?
Comment 2 reactormonk 2014-01-27 19:00:26 UTC
IIRC while moving it around. I switched compositing to OpenGL and the problem didn't appear since.
Comment 3 Thomas Lübking 2014-01-27 19:09:22 UTC
You mean this was on xrender compositing??
Comment 4 reactormonk 2014-01-27 21:48:28 UTC
Yup, it was on xrender.

This issue report is quite old. Can you please confirm, that it still persists with KDE 5.23?
