Sure! We can only ship stuff in it's preferred form of modification. So, even if the PDF is under a FLOSS license, we don't have access to the sources. IIRC the same applies for KDE doc, but I might be wrong. Anyway, just adding the LaTeX code for it would be enough.
The document is a presentation and not really meant for modifications. Conversion into other forms might make sense though. @Torsten: The document in question is a presentation back from 2007 which IMHO does not add much value nowadays. I'd propose deleting it from the repository and instead start hosting our presentations and related material at files.kde.org, linking to them as needed (from the sources, website, wiki). What do you think?
Yup, it only has historical value (as in "See how we sticked to the vision over all these years"). Indeed it can safely be removed :)
