hi, somehow it feels bad and odd reactive when i drag amaroks stream slider a bigger amount or use the mouse wheel over it as the slider seems to get updated to the current level - which may faded with a delay. The result: the knob jumps oddly (though correct if you want the slider to show the current state) forth an back while in real life when a slider gets moved, the volume follows the slider and the slider doesn't move on its own, a behavior which would feel more natural and intuitive and should be mimicked. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. mousewheel over software stream slider 2. 3. Actual Results: jumps Expected Results: stay on dragged position
Actually one must react on the volumes that come back. Much effort was already put into this issue, and it is much better than 1 or 2 years ago. I am aware that the current state is still far from optimal, but my resources are limited. Unless somebody else picks up this ticket, likely nothing will happen unfortunately.
