Description Dennis Schridde 2014-01-21 21:15:19 UTC
When I select an IMAP folder in Kontact and the IMAP sync for that account has just started, it will take a long time until the current contents of that folder are displayed.

I thus suggest the following: When a collection is queued for syncing, but then its contents are requested by a client (like KMail/Kontact), it should be synced immediately by the Akonadi server, instead of at the time it was originally queued to be synced.

This should reduce the time until the folder is shown with up-to-date contents in the client.

Reproducible: Always

Confirmed, it's annoying, but unfortunately non-trivial to fix :)
