More of a feature request than of a bug. Lets' say a user has 3 tabs with Konsole split horizontally. When something happens in either of tabs, its name changes colour. User takes a look (switches to e.g.) at the tab in upper horizontal part of his Konsole. Lower part still displays coloured. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open three tabs, in one execute something that takes time to end (or that writes a lot of things to stdout) 2. Split view, do something in 2 other tabs in different views 3. When you are notified of changes in 1st tab, switch to it on upper half of console Actual Results: Lower half of console still displays notification (colour change) in already checked-out tab.
I can confirm this on the latest version, 18.08.1. KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.0 Qt Version: 5.11.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.50.0
Thanks for the report Mike. Can you please clarify the steps to reproduce this issue. You talk about tabs but also splits. If this issue is no longer present please let us know so we can close this bug report, thanks.
