JPG display quality is low when viewing large JPG files. See the screenshot. Gwenview on left, Firefox on right - both at 100% zoom level. Take a look at fonts on the: - black background - word "entirely" - the "l" letter is gone when viewed with gwenview. - orange background - letter "m" in the "marketing" word or letter "W" in the "WITH" word. This behaviour that looks like interpolation can be seen in other places too - but the 2 examples above should show the problem clearly. If I'm not mistaken this shouldn't happen at 100% zoom level - pictures should be pixel perfect then? OS: Kubuntu 13.04 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download the example picture to the hard drive: http://cdn2.hubspot.net/hub/53/blog/images/the-history-of-marketing-HUBSPOT-resized-600.jpg 2. Open at 100% view with gwenview and in other browser (checked Firefox, Chromium, ImageMagick). Image in gwenview looks bad (qualitatively) in comparison.

Looks great to me with Gwenview 17.11.70 in KDE Neon.
