Hi,

Running kde4libs tests in a university network I got failures on testSmb, that in a small network runs successfully. Ideally, the test should work on any network, testing the code and not the network environment.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build kdelibs with tests enabled
2. Run ctest

About the network timings, this is an example call to smbtree in this particular network:

Works for me with my Samba share and network. Without details that are probably obsolete at this time (sorry), there's no way to know why it didn't work on your university network.
