Looks like the english description or at least the (German) translation "Nur für Quellen dieser Verbindung verwenden" is wrong ("just use this for SOURCES of this connection"). It means, that NM should NOT set default-routes to this VPN-connections -- I figured that out by trial and error, but not by reading the description. I'd prefer "do not set default routes to this connection" or something like that. This is a clear destription of what this is doing (and that's what I have looked for). At least the description "just use this for DESTINATIONS of this connection" would make much more sense in my understanding (German: "Nur für Ziele dieser Verbindung verwenden"). "Source" in my understanding is MY computer. That's how iptables and other tools understand source and destination. I understand that it's possible to understand the foreign network as a "source" of a VPN connection, but I believe, that's not a helpful wording.
