When using either the ingredient matcher or the ingredients list, the only ingredients that show are the ones related to a specific recipe. This SUCKS 'cause you end up with duplicate ingredients. I want to be able to edit my ingredients the way Jason Kivlighn, the long time maintainer of Krecipes originally designed this. As far as I'm concerned, the way it is IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go into any recipe or from your category list 2. Choose ingredient matcher or Ingredients 3. Only ingredients from the last recipe entered show up in a search Actual Results: As above. Even when searching with a wildcard (*), all your ingredients don't show up and they are supposed to be in your data base. At lease they were when Jason Kivlighn was the maintainer Expected Results: I want to be able so see all ingredients and edit them or remove duplicates!!
Version 2.0.0-1 I cannot reproduce this. A search in ingredient matcher displays all the ingredients in my database. Also data can be easily edited/removed in data->ingredients tab. Can you try the new version?
Hi, I was able to reproduce this bug just once with the ingredient list of the ingredient matcher; I'm not sure how to reproduce it, but in any case the code involved is going to be reworked soon for 2.2 so I doubt this bug will exist in the next version of the program. @colleen > I want to be able to edit my ingredients the way Jason Kivlighn, the long time maintainer of > Krecipes originally designed this. Calm down, you just got an unexpected buggy behavior, there wasn't any major changes in the GUI design since KDE 3, just porting to KDE/Qt 4 (not altering very much the behavior of the KDE 3 program) and bug fixing. Thanks for the work you have done in this program in the past by the way.
