Plasma desktop crash while clicking on 'add widgets'. eight out of ten times desk top get crash. Also there is no sound when the system get loaded.Desktop version : KDE 4.11.3

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

Please update to unpatched Qt 4.8.5. Ask in your distribution's forum, where to get it.

Regarding the sounds, you can enable them in System Settings > Notifications > Event Source: KDE Workspace.
