Description Tobias Marquardt 2013-12-30 21:48:23 UTC
In my Konsole profile I enabled the "Start in same directory as current tab"-setting. This has no effect when using Yakuake. I would really like to have such a setting for Yakuake, too. I already looked at the source code and found out that in the Terminal's constructor the directory of a new terminal is always set to the users home directory (via showShellInDir()). But I have no idea how to get the path of the currently active terminal there...

So what do you think of this feature?
Can you give me any hints on how to implement this?

Reproducible: Always

It has to be fixed in the KPart instead.

PS.: I'll look at your review request after new year's, sorry, on vacation atm.

Sorry for creating a redundant ticket. I didn't see the other one before.
