Currently in the page bar there is only the page count and buttons for next/previous page. This leaves much empty and unused space. To use this space I propose to add the following items: 1. Zoom slider in right corner: This is something very important and which KDE usere are used to from other KDE apps (dolphin, gwenview, calligra suite, etc.). 2.Single buttons for the view modes: It would be comfortable to have the view modes as single buttons at hand, so it is easier and fast to switch between view modes. 3. First / last page buttons 4. View (history) next/back Furthermore it would be good if the page bar could be customized to user preferences. If requested I can also submit bug reports for each item. For reference, please see the attached screenshots of Adobe Acrobat and Foxit reader.

Great suggestion. I had suggested in bug 342577 to add first/last page buttons to the page bar. I also think bookmark navigation buttons (add/previous/next bookmark) would be VERY useful. It's been over a year and no word yet?

No word on a whishlist? Sorry but we have enough serious bugs and not enough manpower so unless you guys code it yourselves or convince someone external to the project wishlists are most probably not going to happen.
Sorry for asking! I don't know much about coding or how much manpower the okular team has or how difficult it would be to add a few buttons to the page bar, but if I had, I guess I wouldn't have asked!
The "Okular team" is basically whoever shows up; this is a volunteer project! Patches are welcomed and appreciated. I like the zoom slider idea especially. That would be nice.
