Description Richard Llom 2013-12-27 23:30:51 UTC
When disabling the breadcump mode (F6) and deleting all text inside the location bar, dolphin displays all available protocols in a drop down list at the beginning of the location bar (very nice).
However to change the protocol one still has to use the mouse.

So I propose to use the up/down arrows, maybe with a meta key (ctrl, shift, alt), to scroll through the protocols.

Reproducible: Always

Works here, because it is a normal QMenu. Do you have the same issue with other pop-up or pull-down menus?

If you can provide the information requested in comment #1, please add it.

After reading my description again, it seems I wasn't so clear:

I want to scroll through the protocols list, *while* having the cursor (focus) in the location bar.
Because thats the default cursor location/focus point and it is cumbersome to manually change the focus (by mouse/keyboard).

I doubt that this is the normal QMenu style. However, I would be delighted to find out otherwise.

Do you still want the pop menu to open, or cycle through the list quietly? Note that the list is not even sorted alphabetically, so cycling might be more of a hit-and-miss affair.

It should pop-up, so its (more) visible when you scroll through it. Also for the randomness of the list entries as you mentioned.
