Both strings are neither in l10n-kde4/templates/messages nor in extragear/base/bluedevil.

Are they from solid?

I found these strings in this file:

/bluedevil/src/bluedevil-mime.xml

Sorry, overlooked this file

To extract these strings for the kde translation system this file XmlMessages.sh needs to be added to the folder src:

function get_files
{
    echo bluedevil-mime.xml
}

function po_for_file
{
    case "$1" in
       bluedevil-mime.xml)
           echo bluedevil_xml_mimetypes.po
       ;;
    esac
}

function tags_for_file
{
    case "$1" in
       bluedevil-mime.xml)
           echo comment
       ;;
    esac
}

On Scriptys next run a catalog called bluedevil_xml_mimetypes will be generated.

But that will not make the strings translated in the GUI, because translations of mimetypes in kde seems to be broken. Even the translations from xml_mimetypes in kdelibs are not used here.

Should anything in bluedevil be modified for this?
Also, to whom should be ping to get the translation of mimetypes fixed?

Yes, please apply this patch:

This was already fixed some time ago.
When the patch is applied, Scripty will automatically detect that and extract the template catalog and merge existing translations into bluedevil-mime.xml
