I was copying my entire photoes folder from my Nexus 4 to my laptop using kio-mtp (~500 3.5MiB JPEG files). Copying was rather quick but after having copied the 170th file, or so, it slowed down to about 1 file each 4 seconds (about 1MiB/s). When I cancel the copy progress and drag the entire folder again, skipping the ones that were already copied, I can copy another 150 or so with "high speed" until it drops down the the aforementioned 1MiB/s. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy a large amount of files from MTP to a local folder 2. Observe the number of files copied 3. Actual Results: After around 150, the transfer rate significantly drops. The files are still copied properly but it's just really really slow Expected Results: No change in transfer speed. You can restart the copy progress as often as you want (without pluggin out and back in your device) and copy another 150 files with high speed.
Can you still reproduce this problem? Seems to work fine for me with some 300 odd files.
