If the bookmark file has no explicit bookmark toolbar (<folder toolbar=yes>) a tbcache file is created on every call to emitChanged(), as it calls bool save( bool toolbarCache = true ) const; Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Dolphin 2. look into ~/.kde/share/apps/kfileplaces/ Actual Results: There is a zero size bookmarks.xml.tbcache Expected Results: a .tbcache should only be created if a bookmark toolbar exists and is distinct from the root folder.
