Description J. Jordan 2013-12-16 19:49:59 UTC
1.) When a state abbreviation such as NV (for Nevada) is entered in the Region field of the Edit Address dialog box of KAddressBook it displays ONLY until the next syncronization with Google occurs.

2.) The state abbreviation entered in KAddressBook DOES appear when viewed in Google contacts (or on my Android Phone). [so it is being synchronized, I created a dummy entry to test this]

3.) Using the 'googledata' Akonadi resource, the state DOES display properly in KAddressBook (but of course it has other problems).

Occurs in SUSE 13.2, Kaddressbook 3.11.4

I meant Kaddressbook 4.11.4

This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
