Currently konversation pulls kdepimlibs unconditionally. Over the years pim became bloated with functionality and conditional features where removed. As result konversation now pulls a lot more software than actually need. I believe that using address book can be optional pim become optional. What do you think? Reproducible: Always
This is already planned. I'm working on changing our kaddressbook stuff to use kpeople. All of the new contact association stuff will be an option to build, and an option to use. In other words, you can choose to build konversation without it, and you can disable the feature if you build konversation with it.
That's great news! Thank you!
