Since update of Kubuntu 13.04 to 13.10, konsole frequently stops bash completion. Every time this happen, I can fix it by issuing:

    sudo apt-get install --reinstall bash-completion

Reproducible: Always

The completion is done by the shell, not by Konsole. Is there any indication this only happens with Konsole, but never with other terminal applications, such as xterm?

This shouldn't be related to Konsole - give more info if you it only happens in Konsole
