Description Greg 2001-09-23 16:13:27 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcontrol
Version: KDE 2.2.1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

The Super and Hyper modifiers are not allowed in key bindings. This is quite annoying and is supported by other windows managers and desktop systems such as GNOME. It is useful to remap many window management bindings to Super+Key and/or Hyper+Key so that the usual Alt|Ctrl|Shift+Key combinations are available to normal programs such as GIMP. This has been driving me nuts in KDE for a while.
