Do you use the mouse to click? From looking at the video, the mouse button (or whatever emulates clicking here) is held down relatively long. Does a simple click always produce four characters? Does holding down the button longer show more than four characters without a delay?

If I do a mouse click it prints one character at a time. If I tap the touchpad (laptop) it prints four characters at a time. Holding down the mouse button does not print one character at a time.

I'm using a Thinkpad T400.
