Description gomesrod 2013-11-28 18:18:28 UTC
Using Kate from the KDE Windows package.

When I start Kate editor from command-prompt (cmd) and hit Ctrl+C on the same prompt, the editor crashes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a command prompt window (cmd)
2. Through the command-line, launch the Kate application (just type "kate" and Enter)
3. The editor will be launched without blocking the prompt, allowing the user to keep working on the console window.
4. At any moment, press the Ctrl+C command on the prompt.
Actual Results:
The previously open editor instance crashes.

Expected Results:
The command on the prompt window should not affect the text editor instance.

Cannot reproduce this on Windows 10 with Kate 16.08.3-KF5.28 (32bit).
