Description Alan Ezust 2013-11-25 17:55:12 UTC
Whenever I take a window snapshot, saving as jpg or png, I get garbled snapshots. An example is attached.
This is supposed to be a screenshot of Qt 5.2's assistant window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
0. settings - configure kgrab - capture mode - window under cursor
1. run qt 5.2 assistant
2. Take a snapshot of that window
3. save-as a png or jpg
4. look at the saved image

Actual Results:
i should be able to see the screenshot as it was captured.

Expected Results:
I will attach a screenshot.

how do I attach something from this form? I can't find a way.

Can you check if running "kgrab -graphicsystem=native" resolves the issue?
Comment 4 Christoph Feck 2013-11-25 23:19:57 UTC
Pardon, the option is -graphicssystem=native
Comment 5 Alan Ezust 2013-11-26 00:44:02 UTC
Yes, -graphicssystem=native makes the problem go away.
