Description Steven 2013-11-24 21:43:22 UTC
As I go through pictures I like to sort out pictures I don't want to keep in my "final album" by moving them to another folder. When I use Faststone, I can click "m" + "m" and the file is moved, in about .5 second. Showfoto does not have a feature to move to another folder, only to the trash (!?!?)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to move a file.
2. There is no way to do it.
3.

File SaveAs is not enough ?

No, because File SaveAs duplicates the file in another folder without moving it. I don't want to duplicate - I want to move. Everything from Irfanview on up has a Move function.

I just returned from vacation with 1400 photos. I will move through them sequentially, and in Faststone, I will press Delete to delete bad/unwanted shots, and M + M to move the ones I want to keep to a designated "outtakes" folder, but not include in the final set that I will spend time working on. This method takes a split second for each image I want to move (keep) but sort out of my primary set. I would like to be able to do the same with a very quick single/double keystroke in showFoto.
