Description naraesk 2013-11-21 14:53:33 UTC
The facebook connector doesn't recieve any data from facebook. Nothing is imported.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I'm using KDE 4.11.3 and tried the facebook connector via systemsettings → akonadi. The app was asking me for acess and I granted. Now "KDE Connector" is shown on my facebook apps list. In the systemsettings dialog where all akonadi components are listet, the state of facebook connector was "recieve events 0%" or so, and it never changed. After reboot the state was "Ready".
Actual Results:
Nothing happens when I recieve a new facebook notification. No facebook events appear in KOrganzier. Nothing happens at all.

Expected Results:
Facebook data should be imported.

I started to use facebook connector three days ago. On facebook you can display the last time the app was communicating with facebook: three days ago (from today). So it never connected to facebook at all.

This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
