Description Myrmidon83 2013-11-12 20:28:52 UTC
Adding a new account doesn't show up on the 'name' window after 4 accounts already exist. However if tied to an identity, I can send email from that identity/account but the folders for that account don't show in the name/accounts window so can't view incoming email for that account.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create 4 email accounts.
2. Create any additional pop3/imap account.
3.
Actual Results:
Accounts appear to be added, can send mail from them but do not show in name window so can't expand to view folders related to account such as inbox, sent etc. I get new email notification but can't view it as it is not present in the name window.

Expected Results:
All added accounts show up in name window.

I can confirm this with fedora 18 packages:

akonadi-1.10.2-1.fc18.x86_64
kdepim-4.10.5-1.fc18.x86_64
kdepimlibs-akonadi-4.10.5-1.fc18.x86_64
akonadi-mysql-1.10.2-1.fc18.x86_64

I added a new IMAP account and I can't see it in KMail. Tried restarting akonadi, kmail, and the whole system. No dice.

It does however, show up in the akonadi console. Right-clicking on it in the browser tab gives me an option to create a folder, but doing so causes nothing to happen.

After digging in the configuration tab, I found out that none of my folders were subscribed to. Subscribing to them makes things work.

This bug has had its resolution changed, but accidentally has been left in NEEDSINFO status. I am thus closing this bug and setting the status as RESOLVED to reflect the resolution change.
