Since this site is hosted on kde.org, you would probably need to report it via a http://sysadmin.kde.org/ ticket.
This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc. You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open.
Mauro, are you sure comment #2 is appropriate for this bug?
(In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #3) > Mauro, are you sure comment #2 is appropriate for this bug? Heh, no, it doesn't apply here. Sorry. The above comment is due to a mass-close for all bugs that weren't updated up to 2014, as they're all related to old stuff. In 2015, Kaffeine switched to a new video/audio play backend (it migrated from Xine to VLC). Now, on version 2.0 it was migrated from KDE 4 to KF5 and from DVBv3 old code to libdvbv5. So, almost all BZs don't apply anymore, as almost everything changed a lot. So, better to focus on the bugs we can actually solve than keeping ~500 BZs opened that nobody would handle. While comment #2 doesn't apply to this specific case, the Kaffeine homepage is working fine nowadays: https://www.kde.org/applications/multimedia/kaffeine/ So, I'm changing the status to FIXED.
This bug report is about http://kaffeine.kde.org/ As stated in comment #1, it probably can only be resolved by sysadmins.
