After editing a entry the modified date (hidden/private field) doesn't get updated.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load the test.tc
2. Modifie the title of the test entry
3. Save the collection
Actual Results:  
The modified date doesn't update. Even in the xml file you can see the old date in "mdate".

Expected Results:  
The date changes appropriately.

Also update unit test to catch the error
