Description Richard Llom 2013-10-30 17:53:52 UTC
Kget doesn't download files continuously, instead they are paused / stalled for no reason. This stalling can happen even multiple times per file and for quit long time periods as well. See attached video for a good example:
The downloads are all from the same server and max downloads per server is set to 4. Note that this video is time-lapsed 4x times, so the stalling you see there is actually 4x times so long.

I also believe that this stalling is causing corrupted files. Every now and then (about 1 of 20 files) I get a corrupted file with Kget. However this is quite random so I have no proof.

Sabayon gnu/linux - kget 2.11.2 on kde 4.11.2 downloads are stalling and some fail to resume even set to one active download. other download managers like uget and fatrat are having no problems downloading from the same sources without stalling.
