If toolbar is hidden, there is no key combination which will restore it. The .kde/share/config/muon-discoverrc must be manually edited or removed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Either uncheck the box for Hide Toolbar or use key combo alt-t from menu. 2. Toolbar disappears 3. No key combination seems able to restore it. Actual Results: No toolbar ( expected ), no recourse to restore toolbar. Expected Results: alt-t or some other would restore the toolbar. Reported on Freenode #kubuntu channel, confirmed by a helper there ( myself ). Filed on Launchpad as: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/muon/+bug/1245109
I confirm, will look into fixing it for KF5
