please add an option to disable automatic search in the search field and let the user decide when okular should start to search for a given term Reproducible: Always
Why?
because when i search in big document and i want to find for example "house" but i type "hi" in the beginning instead of a "ha" and okular jumps somwhere where "hi" is found if this "hi" is after "house", i again have to search search through the whole text and this gets very distracting when the document is more than 200 pages big. at least an option to set the timeout for the search field, when its set to zeo the user has to press "enter" to start the search.
Ok
Also if you accidentally make a mistake to the search term the "End of document reached" will pop-up, witch is really annoying. http://i.imgur.com/1ROtMGC.png
The automatic search is also annoying when trying to type a search term manually from a page which is currently displayed in okular. Whenever you pause typing for e.g. checking what you have typed so far it starts searching and the page which you're trying to read scrolls away. Please add an option to disable automatic search. Maybe its possible to prevent at least scrolling until enter has been hit. (Highlighting is nice even when typing to check the spelling)
I could work on this as my first contribution to KDE project. Please let me know.
Let you know what?
I also would very much appreciate the ability to disable automatic search for all of the reasons listed above.
