Description metalbrick 2013-10-21 13:49:52 UTC
The issue occurred right after I upgrade to Ubuntu 13.10 using kernel 3.11.

I am not sure the issue is a bug with powermanagement or Powerdevil, so I reported in both places.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set the Powerdevil option "When power button pressed" to "Prompt log out dialog"
2. Press the power button
3. Computer would shut down

I have the same issue, but my configuration is to "Do nothing", both on battery and plugged in.

Sony Vaio VGN-SR210J, kubuntu 13.10 x86_64, kernel 3.11.0-13-lowlatency

Feel free to ask me for more data.
