Description Robert Munteanu 2013-10-14 13:45:10 UTC
I am connecting to a VPN gateway which is able to instruct the OpenConnect VPN client that multiple gateways are available, which means that after the first connection I get multiple gateways listed instead of the one that I defined, which is fine.

The gateway is defined with a server, let's call it VPN-SERVER-B . After connecting, I get a list of servers, let's say VPN-SERVER-A, VPN-SERVER-B, VPN-SERVER-C. So the first session is successful and I disconnect.

On subsequent connection attempts I can connect only with VPN-SERVER-A ( the first entry in the list). Trying to select any other entry performs the selection but I get an error message 'Invalid host entry. Please re-enter'. This is quite inconvenient, as the first entry in the list is geographically remote, which results in a poor connection.

My workaround is to make a dummy change to the network settings, save, and connect again. This way the server list is apparently removed, and I can connect to VPN-SERVER-B again.

Ideally I would be able to connect to any site, and when the gateway communicates that there are multiple servers available, the one I have selected in the configuration should be pre-selected when I try to connect.

Running on OpenSUSE 12.3, NetworkManager-openconnect-kde4-0.9.0.7-1.4.1.x86_64, openconnect-4.08-3.4.1.x86_64.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Please test again with the latest version and file a new bug in plasma-nm. Thank you!
