Application: akregator (4.10.5) KDE Platform Version: 4.11.2 Qt Version: 4.8.6 Operating System: Linux 3.9.0-custom x86_64 Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux testing/unstable -- Information about the crash: This bug report is not about the crash itself. The main problem is automatic redirection while visiting Linux.com Feeds to https://twitter.com/i/jot Once you click on Complete Story for article from Linux.com Akregator redirects you to https://twitter.com/i/jot. The only thing one can see is the following text GIF89a After one clicks on Complete story, desired story is displayed but only for a second or two then redirection happens. If one clicks on back button Akregator sometimes crashes. But this is really not an issue because it is pretty rare. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: Akregator (akregator), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libthread_db.so.1". Please see my initial post regarding this issue. This issue _has_nothing_to_do with initial crash which has triggered Drkonqi. I have reported this issue via Drkonqi because it is convenient. So please _do_ignore_ crash report. It has happened but it is really unimportant. Main and only issue is automatic redirection to twitter. See this issue in the recorded session which is enclosed in the attachment. Cheers
I guess I am completely incompetent and am not even able to find any similarities with a bug you are vehemently tagging as a duplicate. Please be so kind and post this information here: which comment (in this bug report 264526) is reporting about redirecting issue to Twitter? As I am completely and utterly unable to find this information from this bug 264526. I have stated in my previous post but still ...
