- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Opened a new tab i Google Chrome. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. However, this has been going on for several months. Plasma desktop just dies in the background without any interaction. For a while it would not even come back up automatically but I had to restart it with "kstart plasma-desktop" and sometimes not even that would work. Hopefully there is something in the crash report to indicate what is going on.
