- What I was doing when the application crashed:

while okular was waiting while pdf was reloading (...lyx was compiling the pdf new) i clicked on the zoom selector too choose 200%. this killed okular immediatly.
reproducable.

I'm not able to reproduce the situation. The zoom selector is disabled while reloading, am I missing something?

Yes it was grayed out and disabled. nevertheless it crashed.

But... After a new boot it is no more reproducible.
Maybe it was caused by another program / temporary setting?

By looking at the backtrace it seems to me that the fact that you were chaning the zoom is annecdotical, basically it crashed inside poppler whilte trying to access a null member, i've added code to check for that (that tbh seems like should almost never happen) to the next poppler version.
