Description clickwir631 2013-10-06 15:51:06 UTC
When someone adds me to their Yahoo contact list, I get a message telling me about it and asking if I want to Allow or Deny it. I don't want to get messages about it, ever. Because it's always just spammers. I don't know these contacts or want to, but they are causing messages on my desktop and I want a way to control it.

The only 2 ways I see to prevent this is 1: not login to yahoo chat and 2: use something other than Kopete that has more options.

For everything else, I like Kopete and don't want to change. I just don't want to get asked if it's ok for a spammer to add me to their contact list.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login via a Yahoo account
2. Get spammed
3.

Hello from the KDE Bugsquad!

Unfortunately, Yahoo has discontinued the Yahoo Messenger service, and the code has been removed from Kopete.

Thus, I am closing this bug as "UNMAINTAINED" since it will no longer be fixable, or able to operate due to Yahoo.
