Hi

The printer configuration tool within system settings is quite comfortable, but installing a scanner on a KDE system is horrible. Up to now there is no KDE tool for scanner configuration.

A scanner configuration tool is absolutely behind time and a clear disadvantage for KDE compared to installing a scanner on a Windows platform.
