Description Philip Muškovac 2013-09-30 18:48:22 UTC
I have a GMX account that's synced over IMAP (disconnected mode). There kmail refuses to update mails in the server spam folder. When I focus the folder nothing happens, and manually telling it to sync the folder only gives:
20:36:54 akonadi_imap_resource_0(4255)/kdepimlibs (kimap) RetrieveItemsTask::triggerExpunge: "Spamverdacht"
20:36:54 akonadi_imap_resource_0(4255)/kdepimlibs (kimap) RetrieveCollectionMetadataTask::doStart: "/Spamverdacht"

The only way to refresh the folder is to un-/subscribe so the full message list is reloaded.

This happens on all my systems that have kmail on them, but it always only happens with that one folder.

Reproducible: Always

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
