since 0.6.80, the text entry box has a height of 2 lines instead of the previous value, which was just one line.

It looks like this additional line is just wasted screen space and thus I would suggest a reversion to the old layout, which seemed to be more pleasing and efficient.

Even though I agree and I still don't like the 2 lines, this has been discussed enough... see Bugs 298501 and 318660.
I'm closing this to avoid a flame war.
